Kandelaar Acoustics 10Km Road Race and 5Km Fun Run

Starting point: NG Kerk Noord, 21 Dwars Str, Potchefstroom.

Starting time: 08:00 (10km) & 08:15 (5km)

Online registration closes Wednesday, 1 April: 17:00

Preregistration Friday, 3 April: 16:00 - 18:00 @ venue

Registration Saturday, 4 April: 06:00 - 07:50 @ venue

(Race packs can be collected at the times mentioned above)

Entry/Registration Fees:

10km Licensed athlete: R70

10km Unlicensed athlete: R110 (includes temporary license fee R40)

5km Fun Run/Walk: R30

Cut off time for 10Km: 9:30 AM

10km Prize money (which includes free entry to the Kandelaar Acoustics event starting at 14:00):

For both women and men separately:

1st place - R750

2nd place - R500

3rd place - R250

5km Prize:

Kandelaar Acoustics Food & Drink Voucher for first 3 places, which includes free entry to the Kandelaar Acoustics event starting at 14:00

RULES:

1. Minimum age on race day is: 10km=14 years and 5km=9years.
2. Participants must obey instructions of marshals.
3. It is compulsory for entrants to register.
4. The organisers as well as PTC accept no responsibility for any accident or injury resulting from participating in this event.
5. Failure to comply to any rule may lead to disqualification.
6. Do not litter.
7. The use of music players with headphones is not allowed and may result in disqualification.
8. Entry cards must be in the athlete's possession during the race. Any participant not able to produce a race entry card when asked to do so by race official may be disqualified.
9. Temporary licences will be available at registration.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. Starting point: NG Kerk Noord, 21 Dwars Str, Potchefstroom.
2. Starting time: 08:00. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to race.
3. Please ensure that you register in the dedicated time slots or online.
4. Registration will take place on the 3rd of April from 16:00 to 18:00 and on the 4th of April from 06:00 to 07:50. It will be administered at NG Kerk Noord, 21 Dwars Str, Potchefstroom.
5. The entry/registration fees is as follows: 10km Licensed athlete = R70; 10km Unlicensed athlete = R110 (include temporary license fee R40); 5km Fun Run/Walk = R30
6. 10km walkers welcome.
