2nd Annual Equipped Women 2019

ABOUT

Equipped women is an annual women's event supported by Hippocampus Media and MISWS.

The aim of Equipped Women is to create a networking platform for women empowerment. This particular event brings together women from all walks of life to equip each other with their distinctive life experiences and expertise.

Equipping women through inspirational talk

Each year selected phenomenal women are teamed to deliver individual speech on their career and life lessons. Equipped Women speakers entail women in Government, NGO’s, Media, Business, Social welfare, Finance , lifestyle and Health, Academia, Local and Global leadership. 

It is interesting how a lot can be attained when we work together and empower each other as women. Women strengthen various communities, hence it is significant for women to equip and support each other. Mbali Misimeki is the founder of the Equipped Women event. Mbali is a qualified Social worker, Author, motivational speaker and a Social Entrepreneur. She has been actively involved in managing her developing NGO (The Assertive Youth ) since 2012 to date. She has been involved in various leadership initiatives as being the SA YALI member and through her role as the South African One Young World Ambassador.
