The Event
The Amazing Race 2019 is a fundraiser, patterned after the CBS show, The Amazing Race. Teams of 4-5 complete in mental and physical challenges at secret locations in and around Durban. The challenges are all fun related and nothing too strenuous.
After a huge success last year, another “Amazing Race” will be hosted on the Bluff on 26 October 2019 with an aim to raise R10 000 for the Childhood Cancer Foundation (CHOC) this year.
At the start of the race the organisers will supply the necessary clues and riddles to enable contestants to follow the route, which consists of a number of stops, with various activities participants need to complete at each stop.
The event’s focus is all about fun, creativity, and fundraising for CHOC. Winners will be determined using a point system, with various vouchers and prizes to be distributed for Best Dressed, Best team Spirit and more.
