ABOUT

Prince Alfred's Hamlet Appelkoosfees 2019

It’s almost time to join us on the farm again! The fourth annual 'Appelkoosfees' (Apricot Festival) is taking place on Monday, 16 December on the picturesque Elandsrivier Farm, just outside Prince Alfred’s Hamlet.

Make it a family affair, hop onto our tractor carts and fill your baskets with fresh hand-picked apricots from our orchards.

This year's festival once again promises to delight young and old! You'll be spoilt for choice with delicious food and drink stalls, as well as local craft beer, cider and gin.

This year’s selection of vintage tractors will showcase even more agricultural gems than last year.

Keep the kids busy at our dedicated kids-corner, where we'll have face painting, slippy-slides, jumping castles, soft serve ice cream, a toy stall and petting zoo.

New this year:

  • Young bike enthusiasts can enjoy a short, entry level bike track on the farm
  • Animal lovers will be amazed at the intelligence and skills shown by the dog squad of Dogs & All
