"We are not our scars" is Vuyokazi's theme for the night. If we can take a minute just to consider all the things that we have had to overcome to get to this moment, we will probably face the next challenge with a bit more bounce in our step, being optimism that maybe, just maybe we might have a chance to come out stronger on the other side. This will be a night of reflecting and it'll also be a night of celebrating that even though there have been many opportunities where throwing in the towel would have been widely acceptable, we persevered
If you have a sister who's going through the most, a mother who has seen it all, a girlfriend or wife who has stood by you and you'd love to treat them to a memorable night of good food, good music and an overall great ambience"VUYOKAZI CELEBRATES WOMEN" is the event for you, just to say thank you for their many sacrifices. The night's playlist will be dedicated to women, paying tribute to them. Vuyokazi will be covering some great classics, current hits and some of her own songs from her latest album Uthando featuring Tshepo Tshola, Sliq Angel, Georgie Munetsi, Jessica Mbangeni and Sipho Nkosiyane. The night's soundtrack will be "MAMA" a song that she recorded with Jessica Mbangeni & "A New Song(Group)" a song that praises women's strength, wisdom, generosity, resilience & unconditional love. Uthando will also be available for free to all women for the entire month of August 2019.
