THE HISTORY

============

WoodCrock is the birthday party of Conrad Jamneck that started 15 years ago at the legendary Nile Crocodile!

"Wood" because it was held over the same weekend as Woodstock 69 and "Crock" well duh! The rest is history!

There have been numerous WOODCROCKS all over - Cool Runnings Hatfield,Nile Crocodile, Cafe Barcelona, Kelly's, Tweefontein Melkery...and so forth but the best was to come in 2016 and 2017 with WoodCrock 11 & 12 being held at the magical Blue Moon in Nelspruit.

After skipping 2018, WoodCrock teamed up with Rock Tot, a Nelspruit music blog, to do it again.

Rock Tot is a local music blog started by avid musician Steve Grobler and Margaret Adams. They’ve been passionate for local music for an extremely long time and wanted to give up-and-coming musicians a chance to be heard. Steve Grobler who is an amazing musician, playing the bass, acoustic & electric guitar, piano and much more, knows music like the back of his hand and has a specific love for the Lowveld music scene. He is the author of the Lowveld interviews and blog posts.

Marg Adams is an avid music lover and dabbles in the Harmonica and Piano. She has a love for all music and has grown up all her life surrounded by the music of “Black Cat Bones” and “Akkedis”. She is the author of the National interviews and blog posts.
