Uthingo Pre-Comrades Ladies Gala Evening is a formal send-off dinner for women who will be running the Comrades Marathon each year. It is a platform to recognise and celebrate the efforts and sacrifices; the journey and triumphant stories of women of South Africa training to run the Comrades Marathon each year. It is a platform to share inspiring individual running stories and experiences and to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle amongst like-minded women.
The event has grown significantly having started back in 2015 with only 12 women in attendance and is now a sell out event, three years consecutively. It is an evening of exclusivity and glamour with great speakers and entertaiment each year.
