It’s a beautiful autumn and well into our 3^rd offering of original jazz artists, JAZZ ON RED is once again proud to announce the vibrant and energetic John Hassan, who will take to the stage on Friday, 26 April, with a promise to get you tapping and clapping all night long.

JAZZ ON RED has now turned into a monthly affair! The jazz extravaganza, in the heart of the V&A Waterfront at the Radisson Red Hotel, launched in February with Chadleigh Gowar and followed by a jam packed rendition by Peter Ndlala’s UNIT5 ensemble.

Curated and hosted by Esra Overberg and special guests, JAZZ ON RED is excited to welcome “The Minister of Percussions” - John Hassan; veteran musician who has been crafting his skills for over 20 years. He is a highly acclaimed musician who has shared the stage with the likes of legends and top recording bands. He has recorded as a session musician on more than 100 albums and also has his own albums that he has recorded with his bands over the years.

Hassan is a sought after percussionist with highly professional work ethics and has positively influenced the South African music industry. His craftsmanship has added value to all his performances and he remains in high demand!
