Welcome to a world of dazzling soundscapes, beats to move your body and treats to nourish your curiosity, a landscape of desert dreams and wondrous creation. An oasis to recharge and let go, as shifting sand dunes call us to wander our way home.

ABOUT THIS FUNDRAISER
8th Day of Creation was formed by a collection of creatives from around the world.
We came together with the intention to create a meaningful, dual purpose, large scale sculptural masterpiece and performance space at Afrikaburn 2024 to inspire Unity and Peace. As human caused conflicts continue to rise and create separation, we are filled with determination and hope to bring more harmony into society by sharing our art.
OUR VISION FOR AFRIKABURN 2024
Picture this: a vibrant dome rising from the dusty plains of the playa, adorned with intricate designs and pulsating with energy. This is our "birth giving arena," a sanctuary where souls unite, creativity flourishes, and the spirit of community thrives. Inspired by the nurturing embrace of a mother's hands, our structure symbolizes the interconnectedness of all beings and the infinite potential within each of us.
A place to remind people of their childlike, vibrant state of being. When the world was ablaze with wonder and magic. Embraced by the warmth of acceptance, equality and humanity. We want to create a space to share the magic of Unity and Peace through art, healing, music and dance.
The creation of this project will involve collaborations with artists of many different backgrounds and disciplines to provide music, lighting shows, theatrical performances, and workshops, all aimed to highlight and celebrate art's ability to bring people together at a time when it feels most needed.
