Join us for a scent tour in Constantia Valley on Saturday, 20 April 2024. Uncover the aromatic side of Cape Town, a place where fynbos meets fragrance. Sniff your way through a sensory exploration that transcends the ordinary sightseeing experience.
- Led by local expert forager, perfumer and storyteller, Justin Williams
- The tours last around 2- 2.5 hours and don’t require any level of fitness
- Learn about olfaction – our sense of smell – and how it affects our mood and wellbeing
- Understanding your nose and interpreting the scents around us
- Learn how fragrances are composed and the many materials used in perfumery
- Get acquainted with fragrant fynbos and the stories of indigenous healing herbs
- A special themed welcome drink and snack will be provided
