Scarborough beach house

ABOUT

Please join us for our fourth MY TRIBE weekend in Scarborough from the 19th from 3pm - 21st of April until 10am 2024.

10 women will connect, share, relax, dance, swim, eat, hike and get to know MY TRIBE.

ACCOMODATION:

This stylish Scarborough hideaway is the perfect place to escape everyday life. Take a break from the crowded beaches, wake up and see what the ocean has to say, drink the first coffee with a view of the action at the point from your own veranda. Peace and tranquility of this relaxed nature conservation village - just an hour's drive from Cape Town - invite you to unwind. The panoramic view of the sea and the Cape Point nature reserve make it difficult to leave.

We share five bedrooms with Queen size beds, bunk beds, etc. Two women will share a room and we sort out the arrangements after we have all arrived on Friday afternoon. Some rooms are more fancy than others. We will work something out :)

THE SPACE:

Enjoy your stay at our modern yet comfortable and cozy beach house. Our living area and the kitchen are open plan with great sea and mountain views. Don't miss out our window nock with free stargazing after sunset. It is a short beautiful walk to the beach with great local coffee shops on the way.

GETTING THERE:

You need to drive. I will start a Whats App group and I am sure we can offer car sharing individually organised.

WHAT TO DO and EXPECT:

There is lots to do! We can swim, hike, read, chat, draw, nap (Oh, so important), dance, eat delicious healthy vegetarian food and more - Up to you! On Saturday afternoon we will together do some soul searching during a guided session with Kenna Cormie, clinical psychologist called: The tree of life! We will explore our past and set intentions for our future. We will share our stories and be guided through a spiritual journey that connects us. This will happen on Saturday afternoon.

She believes deeply in the healing power of our connection to nature and the non-human world, and that healing is best done in community.

OFFERING: THE TREE OF LIFE

Using the metaphor of the Tree of Life, we will take some time out to reflect and to look at different aspects of ourselves such as our roots, our values, our skills and our abilities. We will also look at other influences that may have shaped us and the stories that we tell ourselves about ourselves. The Tree of Life process gives us the opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate how our lives and how we see ourselves are influenced by these stories. The process also offers us the possibility of re-telling or re-authoring the stories of our lives.
