Training Registration Requirements:

Applicants must provide evidence of post-graduate education in mental health treatment, such as psychotherapy, counselling, art therapy or social work on the Masters and/or Doctoral Level, and/or evidence of some university background, training in psychotherapy, counselling, social work or art therapy and experience as a counsellor, therapist or social worker.

What is sandplay?

Sandplay is for Adults and Children. Jungian Sandplay Therapy acts as a healing psychotherapy method offering clients a non-intrusive and deeper way of addressing trauma and providing for healthy integration of the fracturing impact of such trauma. Emotional issues are presented as grief, fears, phobias, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, enuresis, stuttering, selective mute issues, academic performance, relationship issues, and much more.

Fundamental Training Includes:

* Introduction to sandplay therapy

* Sandplay with children & adults

* Symbols & symbolic process in sandplay therapy

* Basic Jungian theory

* Understanding & tracking the process of sandplay

Advanced Training Includes:

* Neuroscience and sandplay

* Impact of neuroplasticity in sandplay

* Working with myths & stories in sandplay

* Pre-sandplay work with children

* Alchemy, chakras, elements in sandplay

* In-depth sandplay case studies
