WKO World Championship

I am reaching out to share an incredible opportunity that has arisen for one of our talented students, Charne Mac Vay, who trains at

the Gryphon’s club in the Mpumalanga Province. Charne has been selected to represent South Africa at the prestigious WKO Open

World Championships in England this coming August 2023. This tournament is a global platform where the best martial artists from

around the world showcase their skills and compete to become World Champions in their respective divisions.

It is an honour for Charne to be chosen to represent our country. However, Charne and her family face a significant financial challenge

in covering the expenses required for this journey. The total cost, which includes airfare, train fare, accommodation, basic meals, and

entry fees into the tournament, amounts to R36 000,00. This is a considerable amount for them to manage on their own.

We believe that talent should never be limited by financial circumstances, and this is where your generous support can make a

difference. Your contribution would directly impact Charne's ability to seize this opportunity and proudly represent South Africa on an

international stage, cover the necessary expenses and alleviate the financial burden on Charne's family, ensuring that the student
