ABOUT
In the modern world, more humans feel the need to create meaningful connections that can offer support to others with whom they can form lasting relationships and systems of exchange. Building communities is a crucial process that fosters connections amongst people and creates the infrastructure for these connections to flourish.
Research shows that active, social, contextual and peer-to-peer educational experiences lead to deeper connections.
Our goal at the Connect Conference is to be the conduit of support by providing interactive and engaging tools that assist with navigating business and life experiences, whilst placing a key focus on our future leaders and one-on-one mentorship program in order to expand our community.
Our first day will be focused on the youth (scholars, students, matriculants) at a ticket price of R250 per person (early bird, only 30 tickets) or R300pp from August with the below topics:
- Career guidance
- Increasing your employability
- Goal-setting/motivation
- Personal branding
- The "World of Study"
- Introduction to entrepreneurship
Our second day will be focused on entrepreneurs (hybrid, socials, startups, sole proprietors, intrapreneurs, career-focused individuals) at a ticket price of R550 per person (early bird, only 30 tickets) or R650pp from August with the below topics in mind:
- Design thinking & value proposition
- Digital marketing
- How to scale your business
- Connecting with people
- Leadership
- Strategies for overcoming rejection & finding success
- All things finance and money
In addition to these amazing topics, we will also be having exhibitors showcase their offerings and use the platform as a lead magnet to connect with the delegates. This will allow for networking, lead generating, partnerships and collaborations.
