Oppelskop Sunset Hike

Wed Nov 3, 16:30 - Wed Nov 3, 19:30

Devil's Peak signboard under the Gum Trees on Tafelberg Road

ABOUT

Sneak onto the mountain for a short midweek circular sunset hike to Oppelskop on the slopes of Devil's Peak!

After ascending to our highest point via the Saddle Path we'll then traverse beneath the sheer cliffs of Oppelskop Ridge where the recent Devil's Peak fire swept through this autumn. We hope to see some amazing flowers blooming en masse as the regenerating veld enters its first spring season. An exciting time to witness the floral spectacle and beauty of fynbos. We will finish up as the sun sets.
