Technology Entrepreneurs and their solutions to South African challenges

Wed Sep 22, 17:30 - Wed Sep 22, 19:30

Stellenbosch University LaunchLab

ABOUT

Do you remember the day you had your first big business idea? It was exciting and the possibilities seemed endless. But it’s no secret that starting a business is tough. It requires grit, dedication, resources, and above all, know-how.

Which is why Stellenbosch Network, in partnership with Stellenbosch University LaunchLab and the SA Innovation Summit, are hosting an in-person event for university students and young entrepreneurs to learn from some of the best business builders in the country, including Aisha Pandor (SweepSouth), Kobus Ehlers (Radar; previously SnapScan), Leánne Viviers (Mintor) and Mike-Alec Kearney (CubeSpace).

Join us as we discuss what it takes to be an entrepreneur in South Africa and learn how South African solutions are playing a key role in addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges, today.

The event starts at 17:30 for 18:00 on the 22nd September 2021, and will be a panel discussion led by KykNET Prontuit Presenter, Kabous Meiring.

The discussion will then be followed by a few drinks and snacks and the opportunity to network (in person!)

Due to COVID restrictions, the event will be limited to 50 people. Entry is free but please register to receive your ticket and to ensure we keep to the venue capacity of 50 people.
