In Lionel Bastos, one of the country's longest serving and highest achieving singer songwriters, brilliant musicianship and an outstanding display of nuanced musicality are brought to light in a selection of his best songs from over the last few decades. Jono Tait is an up and coming talent in comparison (!) with his decade or so of experience as both a solo performer as well as his work with various bands and musicians in and around Cape Town. Ronan Skillen, the musician's musician, a man so frighteningly adept with his instruments as to defy the ordinary laws of music, joins them to create a tapestry of all of the most ancient traditions of music being woven into a single, life-affirming mom
