ABOUT

Join us for a revitalisation of mind, body, soul and a chance to connect with like-minded beings.

Enjoy the family-friendly market with delicious food and hand-made goods as well as informative talks about permaculture, natural wellness and plant medicine, intertwined with relaxed acoustic sets to brighten up your day. For those good folk that have been craving a good ole boogie we will be turning it up a notch from 3pm - with a variety of sweet electronic beats ranging from Desert Tech to Progressive House and Deep House to Melodic Techno until the early hours of Sunday morning.

YOGA - with Candice Clara Le Roux

from 9-10am on Saturday. Be there 15minutes before the class. Bring mat, water and wear comfy clothes.

Candice is a body-based trauma therapist and yoga instructor. She holds 500 hours YTT, a B.A degree in Psychology and is a qualified TRE: Trauma Release Exercise facilitator with further training in somatic experiencing through the CRM: Community Resiliency model. Her classes are focused on mindful movement and breathing with a gentle flow and time spent in yoga nidra. For the better part of seven years, Candice worked with at-risk communities in the inner city of Pretoria. The last two years of her work here was spent with vulnerable and destitute women where she offered yoga classes as a therapeutic intervention in order to assist these women in dealing with stress, anxiety, and depression related to trauma. It was here that she discovered the incredible potential for recovery through therapeutic body-based techniques and believes that it is because the power is given to the individual who becomes the catalyst for their own personal well - being.
