The second programme in a series of 8 episodes hosted by the Songmakers’ Guild in which Albie van Schalkwyk will be working with and talking to a different singer every two weeks until just before Christmas.
These sessions are recorded in Albie’s music room @home where he and his guest singer can safely rehearse, chat about the world of the art and perform their favourite repertoire for their own and your enjoyment.
As our series is not exactly a concert series but more a comfortable visit to your living room, it is aimed equally at lovers of the art song and those willing to try out this very special repertoire for voice and piano for the first time.
So get a cup of coffee or a glass of wine ready and invite us and our music into your living room!
