The Calitzdorp EXPRESSSED Festival is an EXPRESSION of all our lovely town has to offer, across various of our amazing venues.
From our award winning wineries, delectable restaurants, quirky pubs, shops and bakeries, we celebrate and showcase the incredible talents of our local community.
There will be an abundance of ways to entertain yourself over the span of this wonderfully wacky winter weekend at the Calitzdorp Expressed festivities.
We will have lifestyle, arts & crafts markets, wine tastings, a Church Bazaar, live music and sensational shows, eclectic art exhibitions, phenomenal food, wonderful wines, the Calitzdorp "Ons Karoo" Treasure hunt and cultural or heritage excursions just to name a few.
Jakals Events will also be hosting another epic trail run! The race will start and finish at De Krans Wines and will be meandering through the vineyards of De Krans Wines and along side the Gamka River. This unique trails will only be accessible during the race. There will be beautiful medals and lots of wine up for grabs.
Saturday 15 June 2024 | 5km Fun Walk - for the whole family.. as well as Grand parents, Moms, Toddlers in prams and your 4 leg children.
9km TR - for the average fitness | 21km TR - for the hard core runners

As the sun sets gloriously as it does in the Klein Karoo, you can either kick up your heels and party into the starry starry night or sip delicious local port-style wines around a roaring fire.
